WTF?!?!
Posted by Tyranny on July 23, 2009
The parents in the faith healing case were found not guilty. I can’t believe it. How did this happen? Were there all religious memebrs of the jury? Must have been. I am angry about this. So now, the next time, and there already is a next time, the parents won’t have to go take their childto the doctor and another child will die.
Yes, there is already a next time, I just heard there is another case going on now. I didn’t getthe details, but hopefully the child isn’t already dead! What is wrong wirth some people?

not surprised
Posted by Tyranny on July 6, 2009
Well, the political unrest in Iran hasn’t died down, but it looks like we do not have a change of leadership nonetheless.
I am not too surprised by this, I kind of figured this is how it would turn out. I am sad though. Would have been nice to see some real democracy in action there.

Michael Jackson dies at 50
Posted by Tyranny on June 25, 2009
So Michael Jackson died. Everyone is bemoaning the news and talking about “the king of pop”. I’m not, I’m relieved. The man was a child molester for pete’s sake! Okay, yes, he was found not guilty; but you know that is because of who and what he was, not because he was innocent. The evidence was overwhelming. He did it he just didn’t get caught and punished like he should have.
Just my two cents.

unbelievable

An Oregon City couple is on trail for manslaughter in the death of their baby daughter. The child had pneumonia, and, rather than take her to a doctor, they decided to pray for her.
What is wrong with these people?!? How many times does it have to be in the news before they get that praying for someone doesn’t work, you need medicine! I will never understand how anyone can think for a minute that they should not take their child to a doctor when they are ill. ”No, we’re going to pray.” A lot of good that will do.

surprized
Posted by Tyranny on June 15, 2009
I was very surprized when Iran decided to launch an investigation into allegations of fraud in the recent election. I am also happy to hear it. From the looks of things over there, and not to my surprize at all, there was some definate funny business going on. I had really hoped that the election would have been run honorably and that the other candidate would win. It was very good to see an Iranian man campaigning with his wife, and I think she would have made a great first lady for their country. Maybe shown Iranian women that they have a voice in the world.
Either way, I am glad to hear that an investigation is being launched.

right to life?
Posted by Tyranny on June 1, 2009
So on the news this morning is the story of a octor who performs abortions (late term) being killed in his church.
Aren’t these the people who preach the sanctity of life and church? WTF?! How does this happen, and how do these people justify the killing of an innocent man, at his church yet? Not that I have a big thing about church, but these people do, these “right to lifers”. Appaently the right to life stops once you are born. They will fight to the death for the rights of a fetus, but kill a living, breathing human being? And people wonder why I have a problem with these idiots?! This man probably had children of his own, he certainly had a life and a wife, she was at the church too. What about his right to life? What about his children’s right to have their father to raise them? What about his church’s right to hold a religious ceremony without being accousted? I may not believe in religious ceremonies, but they do have that right by law. As I said, appaently your right to life ends once you are born…

where to start?
Posted by Tyranny on May 29, 2009
in changing tis from a diet blog to a political views one?
There is the Korean missle crisis, the poor economy, the risisng unemployment rate, and so on and so on.
In local polotics, Mayor Sam Adams has said he will not take a pay raise. He may be a liar, but he’s decent enough to say that other people are doing without and so will he. He admits it’s a token gesture, but I have to say that he just went up a couple notches in my opinion. With the Oregon unemployment rate at 12.1%, it’s the least the politicians can do. Randy Leonard, on the other hand, says he will take the pay raise. Shame on him. He’s dropped a couple notches in my opinion. So, yes, it is a token gesture, but make the token gesture, do they realize how hard it is out here for the rest of us?
